To there from where?

Posted on Aug 14th, 2006 by Itlandm : Conscientious Observer Itlandm
By definition we are all here because we want to change the world.  But I have come to suspect that we don't agree on how (or even what) the world is now, before the change.

We know that if we want to change the world, we have to start with ourselves. Unfortunately, I am not convinced we agree on how (or even what) we are, either.

I propose that we take some time to observe the observable world (including our own actions and thoughts) without agenda.  I don't mean we shouldn't have an agenda: Obviously if we are here, we have an agenda.  I mean, we should hang it on the coat rack while we calmly observe the world and ourselves, and then put it back on if it still fits.

I get the impression that the world we all want is way more similar than the world we all believe exists now.  Generally we want peace, love, enlightenment and reasonable prosperity for all, included the deluded hicks who believe differently from us.
